Kogarashi agrees to exorcise the ghost haunting Yuragi-sou, but finds himself unable to do so when he meets his target-the sixteen-year-old Yuuna, a beautiful ghost with unfinished business in the world of the living! Desperate for accommodation, he finds Yuragi-sou, a haunted hot springs resort whose occupants are all gorgeous women. If you’re a fan of Love Hina or To-Love-Ru, then you’ll absolutely love the pure ecchi thrills of Yuragi-sou no Yuuna-san (Yuuna and the Haunted Hot Springs).įuyuzora Kogarashi is on his bottom dollar-a homeless high schooler whose ability to see spirits has only ever brought him misfortune. It’s certainly worthy of your attention, either for the ecchi content or for the fantastic story! The sexual confusion of the teenagers is more apparent as well, as is their lack of knowledge about kissing, love, and sex (despite, ironically, mimicking those actions to pilot a Franxx).ĭarling in the Franxx doesn’t “need” to have nipples and visible crotch lines to make sense, but contrasted with the anime, the emphasis on sexual positions and reproductive nomenclature makes more sense with matching artwork. This highly sexual action makes far more sense in the manga, where Yabuki’s uncensored artwork comes into play. For instance, piloting the Franxx relies on male pilots (called “stamen”) linking with their female pilots (“pistils”) who are crouched on all-fours with their male pilot pressed into their rear. The anime definitely had risqué moments, but the manga takes that concept and executes it fully. The series focuses on a group of teenagers isolated from society, paired up into male/female combos to pilot the Franxx mechs and defend humanity from the monstrous klaxosaurs. The manga has only just made its way westward in 2022, but it’s a hugely popular franchise thanks to its anime adaptation and the alluring appeal of the horned girl, Zero Two. With over sixteen volumes, there’s plenty of monster-girl love to go around in Monster Musume, and there’s a fun anime adaptation too!īack on the more serious side of plots, we have the sci-fi drama Darling in the Franxx, illustrated by the acclaimed artist Yabuki Kentaro of Black Cat and To-Love-Ru fame. Don’t worry all the girls have knock-out boobs, and you’ll be seeing plenty of them, uncensored and shoved right into Kurusu’s face! All sorts of inter-species lewdness happens on a regular basis, answering questions about monster girl physiology that we’d never considered before. Soon Kurusu’s life is disrupted even further when a flirtatious harpy and a stunningly beautiful centaur move in with him. This means living with Miia, a gorgeous lamia who frequently constricts him in his sleep, and doesn’t understand just how dangerously attractive her body is to a horny teenage boy! Three years after the presence of magical creatures has become common knowledge, teenager Kurusu Kimihito joins a government program to help these once-mythical monsters integrate into human society. The oldest series on our list by far, but still a fantastic read after all these years, Monster Musume no Iru Nichijou (Monster Musume) is here for all your monster girl fantasies - whether you like scales, feathers, or fur!
